Creating Affluence

Quite often I find myself in a conversation about the even flow of energy. You know what I mean: you get back what you send out. In fact, nothing works if there is not an even exchange of energy.
We do have to understand what we mean by "energy," though. Energy is anything that has your life force attached to it. In some cases it's simple, such as I help you fix your car and in return you help me paint my house. Or, you help me raze my old barn and I give you a dozen chickens and a goat. OK, that one might be a bit old, but you get the point.
What most people don't recognize is that money is another form of energy. If you don't believe me, just look at how much of your life-energy you traded for your salary last week. Hopefully, it was an even exchange or that situation won't (or probably shouldn't) last long.
This is why money is called "currency." It has to move, or flow, to work. Look at how everything in life works on this principle. If you shut off the flow of electrical current, the lights go out. If you stop the flow of blood you die. Even the trees and plants around us have to exchange chemicals with us to stay alive. It's true in relationships also. When love stops flowing, even in one direction, the relationship ends. Anytime greed, or hoarding, happens something dies.
This brings us to our ultimate goal: affluence. We would all like the result of our hard work, in both our personal and professional lives, to be that we become affluent. But what does it mean to be affluent? The root word of affluent is "fluent," or to flow. So, to become truly affluent people we have to make sure that there is an even exchange of energy in every area of our life. When we examine the social, physical, spiritual, mental, family and professional aspects of our lives, we have to be sure that we are creating a dynamic and even flow of energy in each area.
The more in balance this flow is, the happier and more fulfilled your life will be, and you will become the most affluent person you know!
