Chris Noble
Chris served as a Regional Director for Paradigm Associates LLC. A dynamic and goal-focused team leader Chris has over 25 years of experience in production and business operations. Within the course of his career in publishing, Chris successfully developed a solution-oriented, goal-driven approach. He is skilled at engaging and connecting with all areas of an organization to build best-in-class products that reach their financial objectives.
In 1998, Chris was a member of the team that launched ESPN The Magazine (ETM). ETM went on to become one of the most successful magazine launches in the history of the publishing industry. Ultimately, his responsibilities included the management and creation of operations budgets totaling over $55MM a year. Before working at ESPN, Chris worked as a production manager for Smart Money Magazine, part of the Hearst Magazines Group.
During his 22-year tenure at ESPN, he led all aspects of print operations, including print and paper purchasing, print production, distribution, logistics, pre-media, circulation, consumer marketing, as well as newsstand efforts for the magazine. Chris brings an extensive history of developing new positions and positively mentoring staff to help them achieve their stated goals.
As a result of his innovative thinking along with his expertise in process and contract negotiations, Chris successfully negotiated multiple manufacturing contracts resulting in approximately $6MM of annual savings to the business unit bottom line. Additionally, his creation of an east coast centric distribution model cut postage and freight costs by over 30%, and his changes to the Disney procurement process resulted in annual savings of $1MM in paper costs.
In 2013, Chris was awarded the Franklin Luminair Award for Excellence and Innovation in Media Production by his peers. He has been integral to publications as a production manager and as an executive that has won multiple National Magazine Awards for General Excellence as well as Golden Cylinder Awards for Printing.
Throughout his time at ESPN, he worked closely with the corporate outreach group on the annual ESPY Awards Golf Outing and the V Foundation for Cancer Research charity.
Chris graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies. He played division one college soccer and has coached from the youth level through high school. He is an active resident of Montclair, where he lives with his wife Helen and their two children.
